Find Your Radio's Serial Number
The serial number is printed on a label on the radio unit itself — not on the car's chassis or dashboard. You'll need to remove the radio from the dashboard using radio removal keys (available at most auto parts stores for under $10).
- Serial numbers start with VWZ (VW), AUZ (Audi), SKZ (Skoda), or SEZ (SEAT)
- The serial number is always 14 characters long
- Usually found on the top, side, or back of the radio unit
- For Audi RNS-E: the serial may appear on the code entry screen
Enter Your Brand & Serial Number
Select your vehicle brand (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, or SEAT) and enter your radio's serial number in our secure form. Our system will automatically detect your brand from the serial number prefix.
- Double-check the 7th character — it should be a letter, not a number
- Make sure you're reading the radio serial, not the car's VIN number
- The serial number is case-insensitive — enter it exactly as shown
